Bellevue Chamber Foundation Scholarship Applications Now Being Accepted

Scholarship Deadline to Apply April 21, 2017

BELLEVUE – The Bellevue business community understands that an excellent education supports our future workforce. The Bellevue Chamber Foundation was established in 1992 to fund education programs. The Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted through April 21, 2017. Any Bellevue School District graduating senior may apply. New this spring, the M. Gail Ryder Scholarship will award $2000 annually to a local high school senior with a high degree of entrepreneurialism planning to further their education and with aspirations to start their own business or help businesses grow. Sponsored by Inslee Best, the scholarship is a legacy gift to honor and to celebrate the decades of contributions Gail Ryder has made to the business community.

Other awards include the Ralph James Family Memorial Scholarship for applicants pursuing a degree in business, and the Delta Air Lines Scholarship and KeyBank Scholarship for applicants pursuing a degree in any field. As the Bellevue Chamber works to forge strategic alliances among the education and business communities, awarding college scholarships to deserving students through the Foundation helps further that mission.

The Bellevue Chamber serves as the voice of business on the Eastside, representing thousands of jobs in our community. Businesses range in size from sole proprietors to large corporations. The Chamber's mission is to foster a healthy business environment by providing strategic leadership, advocacy, tools, and resources for business success.
